Problem Detail: DEAD, $75 pre-approved..... Khawer Apr. 3:10 pm informed cx that Ram is missing, we don't know if the HD is missing as well, one Laptop is turning ON, other one is not even with adding Ram, so he approved, $150=$200 ..... Khawer May 7th 2020 2:25 PM :::: Re-traced all the broken & the burnt circuit traces on the main motherboard, replaced the burnt components. BIOS Chip re-programmed, got the display & it works 100% fine. Only minor problem is that the NB does not keep the CMOS setup (the trace is in-between the multi-layer board & cannot be re-joined) & effects the ON/OFF button too because ON/OFF is directly linked with the CMOS. Since the CX. does not want to spend more money on the NB or the motherboard so there a way around this issue. WHEN THE POWER JACK IS PLUGGED IN, IT WILL TURN ON AUTOMATICALLY. AFTER IT SELF CHECK, AT THE BEGINING JUST PRESS F12 (ONE TIME BOOTUP MENU), CHOOSE "WINDOWS BOOT MANAGER" WITH THE DOWN ARROW KEY AND ENTER, THE NOTEBOOK WORKS 100% FINE & BOOTS UP FROM THE SSD. Loaded Win 10 & Activated, Added 4GB (Low Voltage) Dimm. The main battery is also defective but its upto the CX to replace or not. Beside this all is 100% working fine. Touch Screen works fine too. READY FOR PICKUP.......... MF
