| Problem Detail: | NOT CHARGING ,DIAGNOSE AND CALL THE CLIENT ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND ESTIMATE COST OF REPAIR.. January 3rd 2020 2:45PM:::: Talked to the CX. & quoted him the price for the repairs $110 for Battery management chip. Hopefully the battery is not faulty, this too was related to him.Work started.... MF January 3rd 2020 3:45PM:::: When open the main logic board, observation was that the Battery controller is totally bursted & traces are burnt. This is why the repair cost has to be increased to $145... Left a message & photos on WhatsApp to show the CX. what is burnt... Hopefully he will agree to this estimate. ... MF January 3rd 2020 4:45PM:::: ESTIMATE APPROVED $145 . ..MF January 4th 2020 2:45PM :::: All work complete only Windows was giving problem which I told him & he said that no DATA is required, pls. bring iy back to factory default. RESTORE PERMISSION GRANTED & please issue him 5% discount on the total. ... MF January 5th 2020 1:00 PM :::: Replaced Battery management chip & burnt traces resoldered. Battery charges well & restored the notebook back to factory default. Tested ok. Please issue 5% off as per our loyality to the CX. READY FOR PICKUP.......... MF |
