| Problem Detail: | dead, looks like charging port or adapter free estimate, he was our co-op student so we have to give him special price..... Khawer July 29th 2019 2:30PM CX. Approved the Estimate for $300 August 1st 2019 12:35PM Parts has been ordered August 26th 2019 1:25PM Part not arrived yet. Coming from China, no control over shipping. CX has to wait. MF September 28th 2019 2:25PM :::: Spoke to the CX. that the part was in but the problem still presisted. So now the main logic board has to be replaced. The new estimate will be around $550~$650 for the whole new logic board. Told him if he is interested in selling this notebook to us as is, we will buy it off him in this same condition. Gave him proposals, either to approve the Main Logic board repairs around $550~$650 & wait for the logic board to be ordered & NB repaired., sell the notebook to us in this same condition., or take back the notebook AS IS without repairs & no payment will be charged He will inform us later... MF October 5th 2019 2:25PM :::: Talked to Obebe Dad, & he approved the estimate of the MacBook Pro 1534 for $585 & told him due to the installation of a new Logic board, the SSD (HDD) is embedded & NO PREVIOUS DATA CAN BE RESTORED BACK, HE WAS OK WITH IT. I told him according to our company policies if the repair is over $300, then a minor $$$ amount advance is needed for part order confirmation. He said that he would talk to you. ... MF October 6th 2019 12:25PM :::: Texted the CX. to visit the store for the advance payment... MF October 25th 2019 2:25PM :::: New Main Logic Board Replaced (SSD 512GB). Tested ok...
