KHAWER April 13th 2020 2:25 PM :::: Call the CX., he said that he was at work & will call in 5 minutes. He called & told him that the High-Side Power Distribution Switch G5244T11U is burnt out & has to be replaced. Repair cost will be $185. He agreed to the estimate.. ESTIMATE APPROVED $185.. Once repaired he will drop off the SSD Card & the Finger print module at the store, we have to arrange a new DC-in jack for this ACER model too..... MF April 20th 2020 2:25 PM :::: Talked to Les & told him that the motherboard cannot be repair & he has to put in a new motherboard. Since the i5 MB is very constly I gave him the option of an i3 motherboard (4GB Ram) at a very good price but has to be ordered from US. He said that he would talk to his dad & let us know about the approval. ... MF April 21st 2020 2:05 PM :::: Spoke to Les today & quoted him the price of the main motherboard, i3 (4GB Ram) will cost him $285 & the i5 (8GB) Ram will cost him $495 ... He will discuss with his dad & let me know... MF April 23rd 2020 2:25 PM :::: Les Texted me & told me that he has approved the Est. for a i3 motherboard 4GB Ram. :::: ESTIMATE APPROVED :::: Order the motherboard & the DC-in jack today. May 19th 2020 2:25 PM :::: Replaced the Main Motherboard i3 (4GB Ram) as per CX. requirement. DC-in jack added & repaired the Trackpad click button. All works fine with our SSD (Win 10). Texted the CX. to bring along with him the SSD Card & the bottom screws when he comes for pickup so that techs install them rather than him..... READY FOR PICKUP..........
